But with some creativity and the discounts we offer, you can send care packages without breaking the bank. Below are categories for different types of care packages and their estimated costs of supplies:
Category A – USD($1500) – Provide Entertainment: Service members can always use some entertainment during their downtime. This package can include items such as books, magazines, crosswords, puzzles, earbuds, games, batteries, DVDs, card games, and power banks.
Category B – USD($1000) – Drink Mixes and Edibles: Drink mixes can offer a quick and easy way for service members to enjoy something other than water during deployment. This package can include Water (preferably bottled or filtered), Sports drinks (to replenish electrolytes), Protein shakes (for additional nutrition), Coffee or tea (for caffeine and comfort), Juices (for vitamin C and other nutrients), Broths or soups (for hydration and warmth), Rehydration solutions (in case of diarrhea or vomiting), Flavor enhancers (to improve the taste of water), Energy drinks (for an extra boost of alertness)Edibles: MREs (Meals, Ready-to-Eat), Protein bars or granola bars, Nuts and seeds, Dried fruit, Beef jerky or other dried meats, Trail mix, Canned foods (like tuna or beans), Crackers or biscuits, Cereal or oatmeal, Peanut butter or other nut butters, Instant noodles or rice, Canned vegetables or fruits, Pop-top canned meals (like chili or pasta), Dried or smoked fish, Instant coffee or tea bags, Vitamins and supplements, Comfort foods (like chocolate or candy), Electrolyte powders (to add to water), Spreads like honey or jam, Shelf-stable milk and dried food can also be included.

This package can include items such as shaving cream, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, razors, eye drops, toothpaste, dental floss, hand sanitizer, lip balm, sunblock, toothbrush, cough drops, icy hot, and Vicks.
Category D – USD($1200) – Health supplies: First aid kits; like bandages, antiseptic, pain relievers, and other basic medical supplies, Over-the-counter medications for common ailments like allergies, headaches, and stomach upset, Sunscreen and insect repellent, Water purification tablets, Personal hygiene items like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and toothpaste, Feminine hygiene products, Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, Eye drops and contact lens solution, Vitamins and supplements, Anti-fungal foot powder and blister pads, Sleep aids like earplugs and eye masks, Lip balm and lotion for dry skin, Personal protective equipment like masks and gloves.
